Turning steel
into ideas

Where creativity takes tangible form

A world of emotions in each figure: as a freelance craftsman, Friedrich Moosmair converts thoughts and feelings into artistic form – made by hand in stainless steel, over months of detailed work. He hammers away in his homeland, South Tyrol: but his stainless steel sculptures can be found all over Europe.

A wild animal, immobile yet
seemingly alive.
A ballerina who seems to dance
to her own music.
A bowtie made of metal on the
soft fabric of an elegant suit.
Incompatible? No – this is art.

Creativity – a malleable source of inspiration

Having originally made a name for himself through his graceful, life-size sculptures of wild animals, Friedrich has long since expanded his range to include works commissioned to customer specifications, handmade jewellery, human figures and wholly abstract sculptures. Stainless steel is extremely malleable – as is Friedrich's creativity.
